Adult Language Learners differ than children in that adults have already created their own learning habits and are conscious of them. The only way a teacher can adhere to such needs is to create a one-to-one teaching environment tailored specifically to the individual student. And so, with Elocutions you get a class that is completely tailored to you - whether you want to choose from various text books, grammar sheets, free-writing exercises, or a completely natural conversation with nothing but a pen and a paper. It's up to you. But no matter what your style is, we have one clear target in mind: to have a real conversation where both the teacher and the student are interested in the topics at hand and where opinions about topics which matter are discussed and practiced.
With other conversation schools you get big class sizes, text books and rotating teachers. With Elocutions, the emphasis is on quality over quantity - and it shows. You will always have the same teacher and study in a class created just for you. Classes are taught at your own pace and with content that can be changed depending on your learning needs. Various types of homework is given to students who ask for it, and sometimes none at all. The content is constantly changed, tweaked and developed to meet the student's improving level and varying interests. For example, if you prefer more grammar-oriented studying, or if you would rather focus on travel English, or perhaps writing, the class can be molded to meet your needs. The class is yours to create.
Generally, each class is one hour long and is one-to-one - but this is not set in stone. If the student prefers to study in a group, then that is possible, too.
